K comme Creutzwald, 2021
The second chapter of my long-term project, 'Deutsch/Land', examines the former German territory in France. K comme Creutzwald was realised during La Fabrique d'Europe's residency supported by DRAC Région Grand Est in partnership with Caranusca.
Creutzwald is a small town that has changed its borders multiple times, sometimes becoming German or French. To discuss its double identity, I used the following approach: combine a photo taken in France with a word from the German dictionary, starting with K.
